Today so many people lack guidance and wisdom and for so many reasons, but mosly because they never ask for it from God. And the very sad part is they do not even know where to turn to get it. Well the good news my friend is that the Word of God (The Bible) has much to say about God teaching us and guiding us when we ask of His help. The first thing to do of course is ASK GOD for His help!

I have a wooden sign in my office of James 1:5, and look at it often and ask God for His help in guiding me by His great Wisdom. He is the Wisest Person (Spirit) because He knows your end from your beginning. Yes indeed, He know everything about you and I, even that we need His gudiance and wisdom daily.

James 1:5 says, "If any of you lack wisdom, that person should ask of God who gives generously, to all, and without finding fault, and it (wisdom) will be given to you."

Notice what it does NOT say, like you have tp "repent" before getting wisdom from Him. Nor does it say He gives it to "only a few" people. But He is willing to give His WISDOM, i.e. GUIDANCE to ALL who ask Him for it. To me, that was a BIG DEAL!!! I like this unpublished interpretation also.

I was suffering from fear at one time in my life, very badly. I went to God and asked for His wisdom and gudiance on how to deal with it. I love in the Word of God, but Psalm 34:4 is near and dear to my heart. I have hear the Spirit of the Lord give me this out loud, placing this Scripture in my hand like a sword to deal with my fears. He said it this way to me:

"I sought the LORD, and He answered me (Barbara), and delivered me (Barbara) from all my fears, not some of my fears but all of my fears.(Psa 34:4) He said resist the devil and he will flee from you.(James4:7b)" I ask why Lord? He went on to say, "Because I am with you Barbara in not some of what you do, but all that you do.(Gen 21:22) So tell the enemy to take a hike in Jesus name."

So you see His gudiance for me came in the form of 3 Scriptures. I use these 3 Scriptures as a Sword from the Lord whenever the ememy of my soul trys his best to make me fearful of anything. Psalm 34:4, James 4:7b, and Genesis 21:22 was His wisdom and His Word to me that broke the back of fear in my life. Amen, it will your too if you use that Sword too, because it not just mind, but it is everyone who picks it up and uses it! Amen!

If I only had one verse of Scripture to pick from, this one would be enough for me. However, we have many more to pick from. Here are 58 more to study and Proclaim, Pray and Ppraise God for. As a Watchmen on the Wall in the Congregation of the Lord I want to share these with you today. Let us start by reading each one and seeing how we can grab hold and claim these to make us wiser in Him.

Psalms 25:4-5 - Make me know Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my Salvation; for You I wait all the day.

Genesis 40:5-8 - Then the cupbearer and the baker for the king of Egypt, who were confined in jail, both had a dream the same night, each man with his own dream and each dream with its own interpretation. When Joseph came to them in the morning and observed them, behold, they were dejected. He asked Pharaoh's officials who were with him in confinement in his master's house, "Why are your faces so sad today?"

Exodus 33:12-16 - Then Moses said to the LORD, "See, You say to me, 'Bring up this people!' But You Yourself have not let me know whom You will send with me Moreover, You have said, 'I have known you by name, and you have also found favor in My sight.' "Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight, let me know Your ways that I may know You, so that I may find favor in Your sight consider too, that this nation is Your people." And He said, "My Presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest."

Job 6:24 - "Teach me, and I will be silent; and show me how I have erred.
Psalms 5:8 - O LORD, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; make Your way straight before me.
Psalms 27:11 - Teach me Your way, O LORD, and lead me in a level path because of my foes.
Psalms 31:3 - For You are my rock and my fortress; for Your name's sake You will lead me and guide me.

Psalms 61:1-2 - Hear my cry, O God; give heed to my prayer. from the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Psalms 86:11 - Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.

Psalms 143:8 - Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; for I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; for to You I lift up my soul.

Psalms 43:3 - O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your dwelling places.

Psalms 16:7-8 - I will bless the LORD who has counseled me; indeed, my mind instructs me in the night. I have set the LORD continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Psalms 73:23-24 - Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, and afterward receive me to glory.

Psalms 119:35 - Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, for I delight in it.

John 10:3-4 - "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice."

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

2 Chronicles 6:26-27 - "When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, and they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin when You afflict them; then hear in heaven and forgive the sin of Your servants and Your people Israel, indeed, teach them the good way in which they should walk. And send rain on Your land which You have given to Your people for an inheritance.

Psalms 25:9 - He leads the humble in justice, and He teaches the humble His way.

Psalms 139:23-24 - Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my anxious thoughts; and see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.

Isaiah 57:15 - For thus says the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, "I dwell on a high and holy place, and also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.

"If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Luke 12:11-12 - "When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say."

Exodus 13:21-22 - The LORD was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way, and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night. There are many ways to hear from God and get the Wisdom and Guidance you need. Make sure you know that He can and will speak to you through others, numbers, signs, your husband or your wife. But of course He would have told you first, these other things come along to be the "confriming word" letting you know you indeed have heard from God.
